  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for the sauce)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, setting the stage for that perfect char and smokiness.
  2. Rub the chicken breasts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, ensuring an even coating. Next, sprinkle 1 teaspoon each of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper over the chicken to build flavor.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts onto the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken into thin strips.
  5. While your chicken is resting, steam or blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for about 4-5 minutes, until they are tender yet bright green.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  7. Pour in 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/4 cup of chicken broth, stirring to combine. Season with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, stirring continuously. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  8. Stir in 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  9. To serve, divide the steamed broccoli evenly into serving bowls. Top each portion with the sliced chicken.
  10. Drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Garnish with 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley.
