Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey (93% lean)
  • 3/4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 Red Onion (finely minced)
  • 23 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Dill (fresh)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 medium Persian Cucumber (grated and drained)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice (fresh-squeezed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, Panko breadcrumbs, egg, crumbled feta cheese, minced red onion, minced garlic, oregano, dill, and cumin. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Using your hands, take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is shaped into meatballs.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil. Place the meatballs on the sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  5. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, mix together the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  7. Once the meatballs are out of the oven, let them cool slightly before serving with the tzatziki sauce.
