  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1.5 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for topping before serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic in a large skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, uncooked elbow macaroni, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and if desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
