Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix warm water and olive oil.
  3. Create the dough: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough: Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Incorporate flavor: Gently incorporate minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and Italian herbs into the dough.
  6. Let it rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Shape the loaf: Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  9. Butter it up: Place the loaf on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
