A simple and fresh Garlic Lemon Shrimp recipe that brings the Mediterranean to your kitchen, bursting with flavor and ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Cook the shrimp, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice and add the lemon zest, stirring to combine.
  5. Cook for another minute to meld flavors.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
