Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless center-cut pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, place the pork chops in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter in the same skillet, then add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, spoon garlic butter over the top, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the pork chops in salt and pepper for 30 minutes before cooking. You can also substitute the butter with a dairy-free alternative.
