A quick and easy recipe for juicy pork chops seared to perfection and smothered in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless center-cut pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing for about a minute.
  5. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon garlic butter over them, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure the skillet is hot before adding pork to achieve a crust. Use a meat thermometer for thick chops. Fresh parsley adds brightness.
