A comforting dish of pasta tossed in rich, garlicky butter and topped with tender chicken, ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta of your choice
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot, add a pinch of salt, and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter slowly.
  3. Season and Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the pan and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Slice the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
  5. Sauté the Garlic: In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  6. Toss in the Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the garlic butter and toss to combine.
  7. Combine with Chicken: Return the sliced chicken to the pan and mix everything together, letting it simmer for a minute.
  8. Serve Hot: Plate the pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in garlic and herbs for an hour before cooking. This dish can easily be modified by swapping chicken for shrimp or adding veggies.
