A vibrant and playful breakfast bread infused with the nostalgic crunch of Fruity Pebbles cereal, perfect for brunch or an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Fruity Pebbles cereal

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan to ensure your bread comes out perfectly.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and add eggs: In another bowl, cream the softened butter until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in Fruity Pebbles: Gently fold in the Fruity Pebbles cereal without breaking too many of the colorful bits.
  6. Pour into the loaf pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool and slice: Allow the loaf to cool for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
