A simple and elegant fish dish featuring flaky fish fillets in an aromatic non-alcoholic white wine sauce.

Ingredients

  • Fish fillets (such as cod, sole, or tilapia)
  • Non-alcoholic white wine
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Vegetables (for serving, optional)
  • Rice (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Season your fish fillets generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the seasoned fish fillets until lightly browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Set the cooked fish aside to rest.
  5. Sauté the minced garlic in the same pan until fragrant.
  6. Simmer by pouring in the non-alcoholic white wine and bringing it to a simmer.
  7. Add fresh herbs and return the fish to the pan, allowing it to absorb the sauce flavors.
  8. Cover and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the fish is fully cooked through.
  9. Serve the fish with a side of vegetables or rice, drizzled with the sauce.
