A delightful twist on classic lemonade featuring fresh figs and pears blended with green tea and lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh pears, chopped
  • 4 figs, stemmed and quartered
  • 2 cups brewed green tea, cooled
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey (or agave syrup for a vegan option)
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the Green Tea by steeping green tea bags in boiling water for about 3-5 minutes, then let it cool.
  2. Prepare the Fruits by washing and chopping pears and slicing figs into quarters.
  3. Blend the pears, figs, honey, and lemon juice with cooled green tea until smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother lemonade (optional).
  5. Chill the blended mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and serve over ice with garnishes.

Notes

Store leftover lemonade in a sealed pitcher in the fridge for up to three days. Use ripe fruits for the sweetest flavors.
