Instructions

  1. Season the chicken by sprinkling with chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken in a large pot with heated vegetable oil until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Build the broth by adding garlic and sautéing until fragrant, then pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil; let simmer.
  4. Cook the chicken thoroughly by reducing heat, covering, and simmering for about 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream into the broth after removing the chicken.
  6. Prepare the ramen noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  7. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Combine the shredded chicken back into the creamy broth.
  9. Final assembly: place cooked noodles in bowls and ladle the creamy chicken broth over them, garnishing with green onions and chili oil.
