  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 tablespoons espresso powder
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  6. Fold in the toffee bits and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
