Delicious and nutritious energy bites that are perfect for on-the-go snacking, made with wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., peanut butter or almond butter)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or dried fruit
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed or chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Start by grabbing a mixing bowl. Toss in the rolled oats, your choice of nut butter, honey or maple syrup, chocolate chips or dried fruit, ground flaxseed or chia seeds, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Mix well using a sturdy spoon or spatula until all ingredients are fully combined and form a sticky dough.
  3. Pop the mixture into the fridge for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Once chilled, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Store the energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

These energy bites can also be frozen for up to three months. Make sure to keep them in an airtight container.
