  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup grated cheese (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella)
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toast the slices of crusty bread until golden brown and crisp.
  3. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Sauté the eggs until whites are set but yolks remain runny.
  5. Whisk together cream, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  6. Layer sliced avocado on each toasted bread slice.
  7. Add a cooked egg on top of the avocado.
  8. Place tomato slices atop the egg.
  9. Drizzle the cream mixture over the layered ingredients.
  10. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
