Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup chopped vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, spinach, onions)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Whisking the egg whites in a bowl with salt and pepper until frothy.
  2. Heating a non-stick skillet over medium heat and coating it with cooking spray or olive oil.
  3. Sautéing the chopped vegetables in the skillet for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. Pouring the whipped egg whites into the skillet, covering the sautéed vegetables.
  5. Cooking until the edges begin to set, gently lifting them with a spatula.
  6. Sprinkling cheese on top if desired, folding the omelette in half, and cooking for another minute.
  7. Sliding the omelette onto a plate and serving warm.

Notes

Serve with whole grain toast, fresh fruit, or avocado slices for a complete breakfast. It’s best enjoyed fresh.
