A wholesome and satisfying bread loaded with the goodness of oats and chia seeds, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the rolled oats and chia seeds in a bowl.
  3. Pour in 2 cups of water and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  4. Mix in your choice of honey or maple syrup, followed by the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use whole wheat flour. Adjust sweetness based on preference.
