A comforting and delightful spaghetti served in a crispy bread bowl, topped with garlic butter, marinara, and bubbling cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread (sourdough or French)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow it out, leaving about an inch of bread on all sides.
  4. Mix the cooked spaghetti with marinara sauce and garlic butter until well coated.
  5. Fill the hollowed bread with the spaghetti mixture, pushing it down slightly.
  6. Top generously with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding gouda or feta cheese, or goat cheese. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for spice.
