Delightful and refreshing cucumber sandwiches perfect for any gathering, featuring a creamy spread and fresh cucumber slices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices Soft white bread
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup Light mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dried dill
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream cheese, light mayonnaise, dried dill, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Use a spatula or fork to mix until smooth.
  2. Slice the crusts off each piece of soft white bread if desired. Lay the slices out on a clean surface.
  3. Slice the English cucumber thinly, aiming for about 1/8 inch thick. Pat the cucumber with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  4. Spread the creamy mixture generously over one side of each slice of bread. Layer the cucumber slices evenly on half of the bread slices.
  5. Top the cucumber-laden slices with the remaining slices of bread, cream cheese side down, to create sandwiches.
  6. Cut each sandwich into quarters or triangles and arrange them beautifully on a platter.

Notes

Quality ingredients matter; use fresh cucumbers and good-quality cream cheese for the best flavor. These sandwiches can be made a few hours ahead of time.
