Deviled eggs are a creamy, tangy treat, perfect for gatherings and celebrations, offering a delightful appetizer that’s easy to customize.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Halve the Eggs: Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a bowl and the whites on a serving platter.
  2. Create the Filling: In the bowl with the yolks, mash them with the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Fill the Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Fill them generously, letting the filling create a beautiful dome.
  4. Garnish with Paprika: Sprinkle with paprika for garnish to add a nice touch.
  5. Chill Before Serving: Chill the eggs in the refrigerator before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

For easier peeling, use older eggs. Feel free to customize the filling with spices or herbs for different flavor variations.
