  • 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust based on the saltiness of the ham)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Ingredients: Gather your ingredients and get them prepped. Cube the smoked ham, trim the green beans, peel and dice the potatoes, and dice the onion.
  2. Layer the Base: In your Crockpot, start by layering the diced potatoes at the bottom.
  3. Add the Ham and Vegetables: Sprinkle the cubed smoked ham over the potatoes, followed by the diced onion, and finally, the fresh green beans on top.
  4. Pour the Broth: Pour the chicken broth over the top, followed by the black pepper and salt.
