A comforting dish featuring crispy chicken topped with ham, Swiss cheese, and a touch of honey mustard, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of honey mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast.
  4. Create your breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, then fry the breaded chicken until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish and drizzle with honey mustard.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular ones. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for best cooking results.
