Delicious crispy fried mushrooms served with creamy ranch dressing, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
  2. Set up the breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Dredge the mushroom slices in flour, egg, and then breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the breaded mushrooms for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain the fried mushrooms on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with ranch dressing.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-dip the mushroom slices. Use panko breadcrumbs for a crispier texture.
