A delightful breakfast ring filled with creamy scrambled eggs, cheese, and savory sausage, wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. Perfect for weekend mornings!

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage or bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and arrange the triangles in a ring on a baking sheet, overlapping the edges.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat until just set. Add the cooked sausage (or bacon), cheese, and vegetables if using.
  5. Spoon the egg mixture into the center of the crescent ring.
  6. Fold the points of the crescent dough over the filling, tucking them under to secure.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Make it ahead by preparing the filling the night before and assembling in the morning. You can also use puff pastry for a different texture.
