A comforting breakfast casserole made with crescent roll dough, savory sausage, and melted cheeses, perfect for weekend brunches.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound of sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain.
  3. Whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roll out the crescent dough in a greased baking dish, pressing seams to form a crust.
  5. Layer the cooked sausage over the crescent dough.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage.
  7. Sprinkle the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
