A rich and creamy pasta dish with tender steak and a hint of Cajun spice, perfect for cozy weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the steak in a large skillet with olive oil, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning until browned, about 5-7 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in shredded white cheddar until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked penne and steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat well in the sauce.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta, aim for al dente. Adjust spice levels as necessary.
