Indulge in savory ribeye steaks smothered in a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for an unforgettable dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels, then generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat up your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat, then add a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Place the seasoned steaks on the hot surface and let them sizzle for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the steaks are resting, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the saucepan and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and fresh thyme. Let the sauce simmer, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency, about 5-7 minutes.

Notes

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or a fresh garden salad. A glass of full-bodied red wine pairs beautifully.
