Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels, then generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat, then add a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Grill the seasoned steaks on the hot surface for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Rest the steaks on a plate to allow juices to redistribute.
  5. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat for the sauce.
  6. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Combine the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh thyme in the saucepan.
  8. Simmer the sauce until it thickens to your desired consistency, about 5-7 minutes.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure your steaks are grilled perfectly. Adjust sauce consistency with cream if needed when reheating.
