A comforting bowl of fettuccine pasta topped with creamy Alfredo sauce and tender shredded chicken.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Create the creamy base: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese gradually until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Combine the shredded chicken and cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Garnish and serve immediately with parsley.

Notes

For added depth, consider tossing in sautéed mushrooms or spinach. Reserve some pasta cooking water to adjust sauce consistency if needed. Substitute whole wheat pasta for a healthier option.
