Ingredients

  • 1 cup of smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the diced potatoes until slightly tender, about 8 minutes.
  4. Add the smoked sausage, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine the heavy cream and milk, stirring until mixed.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
