  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the sliced sausage in a large skillet with melted butter over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth; bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Mix in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; cook until the sauce thickens (3–5 minutes).
  6. Combine cooked pasta with sauce; toss until well coated.
