A creamy and indulgent Bacon Tortellini Alfredo, perfect for a cozy dinner or gathering with friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini by boiling a large pot of salted water and cooking according to package instructions, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble, leaving 1 tablespoon of grease in the skillet.
  3. Sauté the garlic with the bacon grease and butter in the skillet for about 1 minute.
  4. Create the creamy sauce by adding heavy cream and bringing it to a gentle simmer. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine the tortellini and bacon into the creamy mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For best texture use super crispy bacon and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Add veggies or different cheeses for variations.
