  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your 9×13 inch baking pan with a light greasing.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy and light.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Blend together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until fully combined.
  6. Fold in the sour cream and the chopped apples gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
