A stunning and delicious dish featuring creamy Brie cheese and tart cranberry sauce wrapped in crescent rolls, perfect for holidays and gatherings.

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 small wheel of Brie cheese (approximately 8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Open the can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough, laying it in a circular shape on the baking sheet, overlapping the points to form a ring.
  3. Place the Brie cheese wheel in the center of the crescent ring.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the Brie.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the cranberry sauce.
  6. Fold the triangles of the crescent dough over the filling, tucking the tips underneath.
  7. Whisk together the egg and water, then brush over the top of the crescent dough.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing.
  10. Serve warm, and enjoy!
