A luxurious yet homely dish featuring tender salmon fillets stuffed with a creamy crab and shrimp filling, infused with fresh dill and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup shrimp, chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for searing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the crab meat, chopped shrimp, softened cream cheese, fresh dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Prepare each salmon fillet by carefully cutting a pocket into them.
  4. Stuff each salmon pocket with the crab and shrimp mixture.
  5. Sear the stuffed salmon fillets in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Bake the seared salmon for 15-20 minutes until cooked through and filling is hot.
  7. Serve hot, garnished as desired.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add a splash of white wine while searing the salmon. Leftovers can be stored for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
