A delightful blend of French toast and cinnamon rolls, perfect for brunch.

  • 1 (12 oz) can of cinnamon rolls
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup icing (from cinnamon roll can)
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and scatter into the greased baking dish.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cut cinnamon rolls, ensuring good soakage.
  5. Sprinkle optional chopped pecans or walnuts on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the center is set and rolls are golden.
  7. Drizzle icing over the warm casserole and serve immediately.
