  • 2 oz vodka (vanilla or chocolate vodka)
  • 1 oz chocolate liqueur
  • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or mini chocolate truffles
  • Optional: chocolate syrup for rimming the glass

Instructions

  1. Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
  2. Combine the vodka, chocolate liqueur, Irish cream liqueur, and heavy cream in a cocktail shaker.
  3. Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Empty the ice water from the martini glass and, if desired, rim the glass with chocolate syrup.
  5. Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass.
  6. Garnish with chocolate shavings, a dusting of cocoa powder, or a mini chocolate truffle on top.

Notes
