  • 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1 orange (zested and juiced)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to package instructions for the croissant dough.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangles.
  3. Mix the chocolate chips with the orange zest and juice in a small bowl.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chocolate mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the croissant from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling snugly.
  6. Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the croissants.
  8. Bake according to package instructions or until golden brown.
