A decadent chocolate cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition to ensure they are fully incorporated.
  5. Stir in the melted chocolate until fully incorporated. The mixture should look glossy and delicious!
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set. A slight jiggle in the center is okay.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture.
  9. Before serving, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings for that extra touch of decadence.
