  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Mix olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl to prepare the marinade.
  2. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  3. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or longer for better flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or oven to 200°C (400°F).
  5. Grill chicken for 6 to 8 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  6. Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Slice the chicken and garnish with chopped cilantro, serving with lime wedges.
