A comforting Mexican dish of crispy tortilla chips coated in green salsa, topped with cheese, and served with avocado and sour cream.

Ingredients

  • Tortilla chips
  • Green salsa
  • Chicken or scrambled eggs
  • Cheese (feta or cotija)
  • Sour cream
  • Avocado
  • Coriander
  • Onion
  • Lime

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat the green salsa in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the tortilla chips to the skillet and stir until thoroughly coated with salsa.
  4. Incorporate chicken or scrambled eggs into the mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish and serve hot with sour cream, avocado, onion, coriander, and lime.

Notes

To avoid soggy chips, serve immediately after baking. Use homemade salsa for a fresher taste.
