A comforting dish of crispy chicken rolls filled with ham and Swiss cheese, baked to perfection for a delightful family meal.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or butter for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts using a meat mallet.
  3. Layer a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each flattened chicken breast.
  4. Roll each chicken breast tightly, encasing the ham and cheese.
  5. Secure the rolls with toothpicks.
  6. Dredge the chicken rolls in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Arrange the rolls in a baking dish.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter, then bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve with creamy Swiss cheese sauce on top.
