A vibrant and healthy Chicken and Green Bean Stir-Fry that can be prepared in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the same skillet. Add green beans and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant, allowing the flavors to envelop the vegetables.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Spoon the Chicken and Green Bean Stir-Fry over cooked rice or noodles and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat to avoid overcooking.
