A refreshing and nutritious chia seed pudding, perfect for breakfast or a light snack, that can be customized with various toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh fruits, nuts, or granola for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Stir well to combine, ensuring there’s no clumping.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then stir again to break up any clumps that might have formed.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results, allowing the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken.
  4. Serve the pudding chilled, topped with fresh fruits, nuts, or granola.

Notes

Overnight refrigeration yields the best texture. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more maple syrup or honey if desired.
