A comforting dish of crispy potatoes and juicy smoked sausage, all covered in melted cheese and seasoned with ranch.

  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: sour cream for serving
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare a large baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  3. Combine halved or quartered potatoes, sliced smoked sausage, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with sour cream if desired.

Notes

For crispier potatoes, consider parboiling them before baking. Feel free to customize with your favorite veggies!
