A comforting and cheesy ground turkey pasta dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 8 ounces penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, cooking thoroughly until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning, letting the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and shredded cheese to the skillet, stirring until the cheese melts and coats the pasta.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm, and enjoy!
