Juicy and tender chicken thighs marinated in a sweet and savory Char Siu sauce, perfect for grilling or baking.

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Create the Flavorful Marinade: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, five-spice powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken thighs to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat Your Cooking Surface: Preheat the grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Prepare to Cook: Remove chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill or a baking sheet.
  5. Grill to Perfection: Cook for 25-30 minutes, brushing occasionally with leftover marinade, until chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.

Notes
