A simple and delicious recipe for cauliflower rice, a nutritious and low-carb alternative to traditional grains.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional herbs for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cauliflower by removing the outer leaves and stem. Cut the florets into smaller pieces.
  2. Place the florets in a food processor and pulse until they resemble grains of rice.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the riced cauliflower to the skillet, then season with salt and pepper. Stir gently to coat.
  5. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a tender, rice-like texture.
  6. Optional: Stir in desired herbs before serving for added flavor.

Notes

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Make sure to dry the cauliflower thoroughly to avoid mushiness.
