A delightful twist on traditional pizza, this Cauliflower Crust Pizza offers delicious flavors while being gluten-free and lower in carbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cauliflower, riced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., pepperoni, vegetables, additional cheese)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure that your pizza crust starts off hot and gets that lovely golden brown color.
  2. Rice the cauliflower by using a food processor to pulse the florets until they resemble fine rice.
  3. Microwave the riced cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl for 8-10 minutes until soft.
  4. Cool the cauliflower and then squeeze out as much excess moisture as possible using a clean dish towel.
  5. Combine the riced cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  6. Shape the cauliflower mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet into a pizza crust.
  7. Bake the crust for 12-15 minutes until it’s golden brown and slightly firm to the touch.
  8. Add your desired toppings and bake again for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Squeeze out all moisture for a crispy crust. Feel free to experiment with toppings.
