A delightful Caprese Panini featuring fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and aromatic basil, perfect for a picnic or lunch with loved ones.

Ingredients

  • Ciabatta bread
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Tomatoes
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a panini press or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Slice the ciabatta bread in half horizontally.
  3. Layer fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, and basil leaves on one half of the bread.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Close the sandwich with the other half of the ciabatta.
  6. Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil.
  7. Grill until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes.
  8. Serve warm, sliced as desired.
